The Child Insight Philosophy

Parenting is HARD, and thank goodness there are lots of parent varieties and mindsets. We’re not talking about the right way to parent. This doesn’t exist. We’re talking about working together to find tools that help support YOUR parenting style, in the areas you need fresh ideas.

Tools are meant to be there when they are helpful, not to give guilt trips when we use something different or need to function in survival mode. We can use tools 20% of the time, 40% of the time, or 80% of the time. It’s all positive parenting.

Sometimes kids just throw us things we’re not sure how to handle. We’ll take our years of study and work, brainstorm with your expertise of your child, and come up with a plan that fits the home life you desire.

Here to help…

  • We don’t need to always be the referee. We can teach siblings to work through issues together.

  • We all have emotions, and we all learn the best ways to express and take care of them. We can work through anxiety, anger, impulsivity, sadness, you name it.

  • Life is always changing and sometimes it requires adjustment. Get support in guiding your child through, grief, loss, divorce, separation, a move, or maybe the addition of a new sibling.

  • When we understand how best to teach, encourage, and inspire, we join in their success.

  • Ever wondered how on earth to motivate your child to follow-through with the things you need? We can help!

  • Not getting positive reports from school? Talk to Stephanie about her classroom observation services.

  • These are actually developmental milestones for all children, and we can successfully help them through.

  • These are often expressions of a child’s need. We can teach them a better way and help to keep these things from impacting relationships.

  • These are important health and happiness concerns. We can help!
