Our services.
**Almost all services are offered online and can be accessed in any locality. We help families from all over the US and even other countries. Beginning April 2025, Child Insight will also be available for in person consultations at Hanon Pediatrics in Dayton, VA.
Not so sure about this yet? Many parents aren’t. Talking to a behaviorist can raise a lot of questions. If you’d like to get to know me first, I’d love to create that space. You can join one of our workshops (some are free), or book a FREE 15 minute discovery call.
Start Small
Simply: Consultation + Written plan
$156 (1 hour consult + written plan)
This is the baseline package which others can build upon if needed. Each plan we develop together will give numerous tools, things to try, and lots of usable language. I recommend implementing one or two at a time so you can keep focus, gain confidence, and try tools in different situations. Therefore, these consultations really go a long way to giving options and support for a plethora of concerns. Many families find their needs are met with just one consultation. There is always the option to upgrade or add services along the way if you decide.

Empower: Parent Support
$75 (1 hour)
It happens quite often, while working on child behavior, that a parent looks at me and says, “My child is struggling with this because I’m struggling with this. How can I help them if I don’t know how to help myself?” Sometimes we need to learn the skills ourselves before we can teach them to our kids.
This is not therapy. I am not a therapist. But I have a lot of track record as a behaviorist and have worked with adults as well as children. This is work that not only benefits you, but helps you to better support your family. Together we can tackle things like ADHD, OCD, building executive functions, overreacting, blurting, anxiety response behaviors, numbing, and SO much more.

How is this different than a child study? Public schools conduct observations and tests to evaluate if your child is eligible for services within the school system. Conversely, observations through Child Insight give parents factual, objective information which we use to target skill lags causing difficult behaviors. We then build a plan together to better support the child and teach the more adaptive skills and behaviors they need.
School/PreSchool Observation
$45 for initial 30 minute parent/caregiver consultation. Click HERE for further cost and service information.
If you’re struggling with school specific concerns, I’m here to help with this too. I’ve worked in the education system for over 13 years and know how to support tough behaviors and learning disabilities within this specific setting. Let’s meet for 30 minutes to start discussing concerns and work through options.
Working from home can often build skills which tackle concerns at school.
Classroom observations are available for families local to New Market/Harrisonburg/Dayton VA.
Consult with school: If your school/preschool/daycare is open to the idea, I’m happy to consult with them as well.

Coaching Services: for teens and young adults.
$75 (1 hour)
I’ve spent the largest part of my career working with teens and their families. I’m excited to bring my behavioral certification and mental health background together to create coaching services for young people. Coaching is creating an actionable plan to help your teen/young adult tackle tough spaces in relationships, behaviors, or emotions. For faith-based families, I offer time in Bible study as a part of our sessions as well. Looking to cost share? These sessions can be conducted with up to two teens at a time. I.e.: 2 teens, 1 session. This service is for ages 13+.

***Behavioral consulting services are generally not covered by insurance. Child Insight does not work with or bill insurance companies.
***All services are currently offered online. We ask that plans are made for your child’s care during consultation. These conversations can be best created when we are able to maintain focus and talk freely.
